LA Lakers Tickets now on Sale
October 1, 2009 by admin · Comments Off
The time has come for the 2009 NBA champion Los Angeles Lakers to defend their title. Be sure to buy LA Lakers tickets as soon as you can to avoid the outrageously expensive prices as the season goes on.
Some key games to look for this season:
Los Angeles Lakers Vs. Orlando – January 18, 2010
Los Angeles Lakers Vs. Boston Celtics – February 18, 2010
Last September, the Lakers arrived at training camp having lost in the NBA Finals to the Boston Celtics.
The Lakers weren’t sure how they would handle that, but they were on a mission to win the NBA title.
This September, the Lakers arrived at training camp as the NBA champions, having defeated the Orlando Magic in five games.
As they try to repeat, Kobe Bryant said this morning after the team’s second practice, it’s too early to measure who the Lakers are compared to the team they were at the same time last season.
Even with the addition of Ron Artest, Bryant said, it’ll take time before the Lakers will know what type of team they will be.
“We didn’t know what we were going to be like last year, either,” Bryant said. “We felt like we had a lot of potential like we do this year. It’s too early to gauge after the second practice where we were compared to last year.”
I am sure this will be another great year for the Lakers, be sure to buy LA Lakers tickets!
Kanye West and Lady Gaga tour canceled

Kanye West and Lady Gaga tour canceled
Kanye West and Lady Gaga’s tour is over before it began.
Just days after announcing dates for an ambitious tour that was to kick off next month, the tour was canceled.
Live Nation announced the news on Thursday. The tour promoter says refunds will be issued.
The name of the tour was to be “Fame Kills.”
The cancellation comes on the heels of negative publicity for West. He is still feeling the heat for hijacking Taylor Swift’s award-winning moment at the MTV Video Music Awards last month.

Kanye West, Lady Gaga Announce Full Slate of “Fame Kills” Dates
September 23, 2009 by admin · Comments Off
So much for Kanye West’s admittedly much-needed break from work: after stunning the Video Music Awards by storming the stage during Taylor Swift’s Best Female Video acceptance speech, he revealed on last night’s Jay Leno Show premiere that he hadn’t really taken time to mourn the loss of his mother, Donda, who died in November 2007. “I’ve never taken the time off to really — you know, just music after music and tour after tour,” he said.
Yet West has announced another tour: the full slate of dates for his “Fame Kills Starring Kanye West and Lady Gaga” trek have been confirmed (full list is after the jump). West’s road companion — recent RS cover star Gaga — also had a big night at the VMAs: she stunned the crowd with her trademark out-of-this-world outfits and a bloody performance of “Paparazzi,” and took home a Best New Artist award.
Lady Gaga’s wild style: photos of her most outrageous outfits.
Their joint trek launches November 10th in Phoenix, Arizona and stretches into 2010. Presale for the “Fame Kills” tour, which doesn’t leave a major media market unvisited, begins tomorrow, September 16th, while the general onsale kicks off September 19th.
Considering half of the United States is pretty peeved at West right now, the timing of the presale isn’t ideal. As Rolling Stone previously reported, despite Kanye’s thicker resume of outrageous VMA moments and a couple more Grammys on his mantle, the rapper insists that he and Gaga will share equal billing on the trek. “She’s talented and so incredible that she’s not an opening act. We’re doing it together, with no opening act,” West said.
